Furnished Apartment Life_FBFurnished apartments are one of the most convenient short-term housing solutions out there. They’re not one of those things that are too good to be true, either.

Read this article to get the actual facts about furnished apartment life. We’re covering some of the most frequently asked questions we get from customers, from renter’s insurance to extended vacations.

Let’s take a look…

Does my rent include utilities?

This is one of the first things people want to know when they’re renting a furnished apartment, and the answer is YES — utilities are included in your monthly rent. So, enjoy those long, hot showers after a busy day at work, and don’t sweat it if you forget to turn off the living room light on your way out the door in the morning. Your wallet won’t suffer one way or the other.

If bundling utilities is a way to take some stress out of our customers’ lives, we’re more than happy to do it.

Do I need renter’s insurance?

Most of the items in a furnished apartment do not belong to you and are therefore not your responsibility to insure. However, you may want to purchase renter’s insurance for your own personal belongings. It’s up to you, but if it helps you rest easier at night, we say go for it.

If you choose to move forward with renter’s insurance, check with your homeowner’s insurance or  car insurance company to find out if they offer renter’s insurance. It’s usually much more affordable and convenient to add it to an insurance policy you already have rather than purchase it from a separate insurance agency.

What happens if the appliances malfunction?

Who is actually responsible for your apartment if you’re renting through a third party company rather than working directly with the apartment property? The answer is… us! Consider Corporate Connection your point of contact for anything and everything apartment-related. We’ll address your problem quickly and efficiently. It’s what we’re here for!

Can I rent a furnished house?

Corporate Connection does not currently offer furnished houses to renters, but we do have apartments with 2 and 3 bedrooms for renters in need of extra space.

Furnished apartments are not just for corporate customers. We constantly rent apartments to individuals — homeowners who need somewhere to stay while they remodel their house, couples trying to buy and sell a home, and yes, even families taking extended vacations.

Furnished apartments are cheaper per night than most hotels, so if you’re vacationing for awhile, a furnished apartment is not only the most economical decision, but it’s also the more spacious and convenient decision.

Are pets allowed in furnished apartments?
